Hello! I've been to Cape Town area, and i suggest - traveling by car. We rented a car for three weeks and drove around Cape Town province. I liked Simon's town, there you can see sailors like in movies,at Gordon's Bay we sandboarded there, of course Cape of good hope is spectacular for all nature lovers, and enjoy the endless beaches, it doesn't really matter which one to choose, they are all beautiful.
For wine lovers i would suggest to take a tour and visit vineyards and taste south african delicious wines.
