Post Why the "PEARL of AFRICA"-Uganda

Don't you think a trek to Uganda is worth taking..
look! The Wildlife,Nature of the Country and then talk of the Hospitality of the people. I guess i am here due to wildlife haha.
I am one person who thinks am so obssessed with traveling places,adventuring and exploration..........This country usually refered to as the "THE PEARL OF AFRICA" is so gifted by Nature when it comes to my ideaology. Fast we talk of the Parks;

QENP(Queen Elizabeth National Park)
Having been designated in 1979 as a Biosphere Reserve, this's Uganda's second biggest park and it boosts of a variety of Mammal,Bird and Plant species that make game drives and nature walks amazing and then talk of the water bodies both craters and non craters. A launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel allows you to have a view of different birds(remember QENP boosts of the biggest number of Bird Species over 600 in Uganda),Reptiles and Mammals like Hippos and Buffalos.
A stand at Mweya Peninsula allows you to have a clear view of this Park. Hey;talk of the Ishasha sector-i know at least some of you have heard of Tree Climbing Lions!it may sound a myth but in this Park,it's the truth.
All this's better seen than heard and therefore just give it a try and see the reality!

MFNP(Murchison Falls National Park)
Talk of this then.......it's the biggest Park in Uganda with a variety of animals and birds but what drives me crazy here is the Mighty Falls as water goes through a narrow gorge before it explodes to give out a rambling and roaring sound oops one might think Heaven is falling on Earth. While here, you have the opportunity to hike to the top of the falls from the boat landing allowing you get closer to this narrow gorge....this's so beautiful not to ever miss.

BFNP&KFNP(Bwindi and Kibale Forests National Parks)
Wao here one sees God's Art or may think this's my Sister or Brother....it sounds funny to have a Sister or Brother chilling in the Wild Day and night that passes but surely, these Giant Apes(Gorillas&Chimpanzee) are believed to be our closest cousins. Scientifically, they share 98% of Human genes and i really like it when ones goes for their trekking - One may think may be they realise what am trying to do haha it's so funny that i can't tell the whole escapade but i only wish you to try it out! This's one thing that makes the "PEARL OF AFRICA" unique. I love it when it comes to these mammals.

RMNP(Rwenzori Mountains National Park)
You might have hiked before...talk of Kilimanjaro hiking - it could have been great but if you really love Hiking, the Rwenzoris then should be the option. While here, you realise what HIKING means and it only takes 7days. The vegetation is balistic; talk of the giant Lobelia and the great Bigo Bog that make the place so unique - animals like the Forest Buffalos and Elephants can be seen;hey, here you stand a chance of seeing the Rwenzori Turacco(it's a unique Bird) and may be you could have heard of the Great blue turacco and Rossi's turacco or may be you saw it in a book but while in the Rwenzoris, you stand the chance of seeing it in reality!

There are other Parks like Kidepo,Mgahinga,Semuliki and Mt Elgon that i may not talk of now but there's adventure here too.
So my dear friends out there, just take a chance and discover why Uganda is refered to the "PEARL OF AFRICA".

Wish you Luck.

Thanks for the info. I have lived in South Africa for 3 years and I simply loved it. Now I feel I should also visit Uganda.

Thumbs up family

Despite the judge giving his approval for the murder charge against him to proceed as a death-penalty case, Atwater smiled to his eve isk and family seated behind him as he was led back to the jail at the end of the hearing.
