I am looking to go to Sydney for Christmas and New Year this year with my wife and 2 children, currently we are looking at around £1100 per person for flights.

Does anyone know if this is likely to be the best price or should we hang on for a while to see if they drop. Because of the kids I don't wnat to end up with a marathon round trip on some tinpot airline so looking at Etihad or Emiratea at the moment.

Advice please.
