Default Booking agent vs direct booking

Dear travelers,

I am working on my diploma thesis about incoming travel movement to Prague. This is my essentail part of my thesis. By filling really short survey (max 2 min) you would help me a lot (it is completely anonymous). I am trying to get an unbiased opinion. The survey is part of bigger whole so please dont be suprised by its stupidity.

Travel agents vs direct booking

Thank you very much for your time.

Otherwise you express yourself in the discussion below - Do you prefer booking through booking agents or direct booking and why?

Thank you one more

Hi listerovic,

I book or via an agent or direct. It all depends who gives me the best price. Sometimes booking directly at a hotel is more expensive as via an agent.

As this answer was not selectable in your survey, I posted it here. Hope it helps!

When I was traveling to Prague I searched out Prague.biz - guide to the capital city of the Czech Republic - Prague they have listed airlines info on their website. I booked my ticket directly from that airline's website through internet and they provided me some discounts on booking through internet.

Thumbs up Best of both worlds in Dublin

I agree completely with Lowlander - why not have the best of both worlds - the security of an agency and the reduction in rates by reserving directly - confussed? See my website on the FAQ page.
Almara Accommodations Dublin |
Love to know if there is a similar company to ours in the world that do not charge accommodations to join or charge commission on their bookings and most importantly do not charge the guest anything.
