Default Opinion On Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas

I would like some opinions about the Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas cruise leaving Port Canaveral Florida. It's a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas. A friend of mine just came back from this cruise and she said that it was kind of OK? The service was not that good but the price was great. She said there was'nt to many activities. I would love to see some reviews from other people who have been on this cruise ship??
Thanks

I have had no compliants with Royal Caribbean. I think they are a good cruise line. Although I wish they were not as expensive. Now, through this economy right now, we are seeing that the price of them is continuing to drop, which is good just like the airlines.

Every cruise might have some little problems. Different people would have different opinions. And if you have some complaints, you could tell their company to help them improve there service.

One of the things I learned.....book early. our reservations were made a year in advance of our trip. By locking in at that time we were upgraded from a lower level inside cabin to a upper level outside cabin. Now I don't think the cabin makes a difference because very little time was spent there. The service was extraordinary form all the people I spoke with (regardless of accommodations).

As far as other on board costs go, the only things that cost extra are alcohol, soft drinks and gambling. And of course any shopping you do is extra. Everything else is included in the price of your cruise. Some ships do have "special" dining rooms that are alittle more upscale and those do cost extra.
