I've been trying to think of a different way to see Asia and in particular Thailand and have decided to join a charity trek into the Thailand jungle next March for the charity Breakthrough.

Has anyone else done anything like this before? Do you think this is a good way to see the 'real' Thailand away from all the tourists and tourists traps?

I'm really excited about this trek and hopefully it will be a really unique experience ....
